Scaling website orders for a gym supplement brand
Animal Booster Nutrition — a direct-to-consumer gym supplement brand selling protein and creatine products across India.
Website purchases at a controlled cost per order, and a return on ad spend the brand could scale on.
Men 18–40 in Indian cities of 3M+ people. Interests: protein shake, weight training, bodybuilding, nutritional supplements, GNC. Behaviour: engaged shoppers. Layered with a WhatsApp customer list.
Ads were built as product-bundle variants — Animal + Creatine, Gold + Creatine, Maha + Creatine, Cargo + Creatine — so I could see which combination actually sold rather than which one looked best.
Ad sets ran on tight daily budgets from ₹800/day upward, scaled only after an ad set proved its cost per purchase. Sale periods (Holi, July, Independence Day) got the concentrated spend.
Retired fatigued creatives, narrowed audiences to the interest segments that purchased, and reallocated budget out of losing ad sets into the winners. CPM held at ₹14.09 per 1,000 impressions.
Top performing campaigns by return on ad spend
Purchase ROAS, taken from Ads Manager. Every rupee spent returned this much in sales.
Creative bundle test — ROAS by product pairing
Same offer, same audience, different product bundle. This is how I decide what to scale.
Content that carried the paid work
Business Suite figures for the eight months to August 2026. Paid and organic ran together — the content that performed organically became the ad creative.
